Cloth or Disposable Diapers: Which Option Is Best for Your Twins?

Just how many diapers will I be changing a day? That seems to be a hot question we often field from our clients who are expecting twins.

When you’re expecting two babies at the same time…that’s two butts to wipe and a lot of diapers to change, every single day!

A single baby goes through 10-12 diapers a day so when you do the math, for two babies, you will be changing around 600 diapers A MONTH!

There are pros and cons to both the cloth and the disposable kind, especially when you’re raising multiple babies. And to be honest, to make a solid decision, you’ve got to do what’s best for your family. There is no judgment here from these gals!

If you want to forget the hassle, then by all means, disposable might be right for you. But if you think you want to try a more eco-friendly option, maybe cloth is the way to go.

The beauty of diapering solutions is that you can invest a little money and try both options out before you commit to one or the other. Talk to other parents who have chosen each cloth and disposable, get input on each straight from the horses mouth, and then give it a go. You can always scrap it and start over.

We’ve filled our new book with all of the diapering tricks of the trade and a quick side-by-side chart in our new book to help you weigh all of the pros and cons of cloth diapers vs. disposable diapers so you can make a decision that feels right for you and your new family.
